Why are They Speaking English?

There is a potential issue that one might notice with shows that one probably doesn’t actually care about. You see, there are a lot of shows that aren’t set in America and should have people speaking in a language other than English. But they aren’t doing that. They are speaking English. Why is that?

Well, simply put, it would probably annoy people to constantly read subtitles all the time and not just have it naturally set in the language that they are used to. And that’s not all. Movies do this too and it is fine with people. This is probably just due to what’s easiest for everyone.

Should this change? Does this even matter? I’d argue no for both counts. People are okay and quite used to hearing things in English even though it shouldn’t logically be that way. We don’t even need there to be an explanation behind it. We just need to understand what is going on.

Will things ever change? Some people would get annoyed if shows are largely in another language and they have to keep looking at what is being said over and over again. Treadstone did this, but didn’t last very long. I have no idea what correlation there might have been between the two events. But I would have to say that this isn’t something that people care about and fewer still would even notice.

This will probably be my last Tuesday post for a while at least in the semi-weekly schedule that I had been doing some from time to time. The largely weekly ones on Saturdays will stay intact and don't forget about all of the other ones that will happen in the future as well (hopefully).

Predicting the Next CW Final Season Shows: 2021 Version

CW is unique among the networks regarding how they do things. They tend to only cancel shows by renewing them for a final season. They also renew some shows before they even air their next season. This makes the network fun to predict what they might do with final season renewals. I might as well get to it before they do. If you don’t see it mentioned, then it either hasn’t been renewed yet (and thus not worth predicting just yet, if at all) or I consider it enough outside the main season most of the time for this not to count. Here’s every show renewed for next season and my thoughts on if it will stay or go in the 2021-2022 TV season.

All American: I give this about a 55% chance of ending next season. While I wouldn’t think that it would have that low a chance of ending a year ago even now given its low episode count, the fact that they will be ending Black Lightning this early makes me worried for a show like this to make me think that it will be more likely to end than not, but not in the higher end that it could be.

Batwoman: I give this about a 40% chance of ending next season. It is still too new and growing. You’d think that they’d give the ax to other Arrowverse shows before this one. Plus, Pandora’s and The Outpost’s futures still unknown, they don’t cancel any shows in their third or second season on The CW anymore, outside of summer shows.

Charmed: I give this about a 33% chance of ending next season. There is still a lot more that they can get out of this show so I expect them to do a lot with it in the future until they don’t want it anymore. I do not see any major issues with this yet.

Coroner: I give this about a 45% chance of ending next season. This one is a bit different as it is one of the foreign imports currently airing on the CW so it wouldn’t be the same as all of the American shows that are on it, but I’d still say that it is more likely to stay than not provided it lasts in Canada.

Dynasty: I give this about a 67% chance of ending next season. I wish that I could have higher hopes for it, but with a show not needing special effects having its current season air so late in the schedule plus its history of behind the scenes drama makes me think that it is more likely to end in the future than it is to stay around. Plus, if Black Lightning didn’t need to go 100 episodes, than neither does this or any other show that gets a final season renewal.

The Flash: I give this about a 2% chance of ending next season. Let’s face it: this show isn’t going anywhere at the moment. It is still the CW’s most popular show and they would end every other Arrowverse show before they ended this one.

In the Dark: I give this about a 53% chance of ending next season. It was never popular and shouldn’t have stuck around as long as it has. With a fourth season being on the future which is the bare minimum for any CW show that lasts beyond a first, then this is more likely to be ousted before many other shows like it in the future.

Legacies: I give this about a 50% chance of ending next season. It could go either way depending on whether or not they want to continue this franchise or end it all. Whether or not a new show will show up in The Vampire Diaries franchise would be unknown, but that might be the driving force between if it will stay or go in the future.

Legends of Tomorrow: I give this about a 70% chance of ending next season. This would probably get the boot of any Arrowverse show in the future. I know that I said this before, but nothing else would seem logical and who knows just what other shows they’ll want in the future instead of this. They could be able to milk 100 episodes or even more out of this. Maybe with it gone, we can make room for Green Arrow and the Canaries, provided that there is any hope for that show.

Nancy Drew: I give this about a 32% chance of ending next season. It is too new and not really set to end or go anywhere because of this fact. Can you see any reason why they would ax it? Even rating declines wouldn’t get rid of it that soon.

Penn and Teller: Fool Us: I give this about a 66% chance of ending next season. I am giving it a higher chance because it just doesn’t seem like it could last that long in the future when there could be a lot more else they’d want to air instead. Still, I’d put this on the lesser side of ending, even giving it a high chance than a low chance.

Riverdale: I give this about a 75% chance of ending next season. While I like the show enough, you’d have to admit that once the characters graduate in a high school show, people will lose interest. Plus, there is enough going on with the schedule (I mean, it is airing in July) that it seems like they just don’t care that much about the show anymore. If it does last beyond next season, I’d be surprised if it lasted much further beyond that.

Roswell, New Mexico: I give this about a 51% chance of ending next season. They don’t seem to care that much about the show. Even if they keep renewing it before it airs, the later airing seasons do not seem to be that good a sign for its future and they might not be able to milk that much out of it.

Superman and Lois: I give this about a 10% chance of ending next season. They wouldn’t have renewed this show so soon if they didn’t care about it or its long term plan for the future. Thus, I don’t see it going anywhere for quite some time.

Walker: I give this about a 5% chance of ending next season. This wouldn’t cost the network as much as other shows that are older, require special effects, or both. Thus, we are going to see a whole lot more of this in the future until it has a nice long run and the CW uses its star for another show as his career is set for life or retirement.

No major shows: I give this about a 49% chance of happening. I have to include this on here just to see if the network known for being unusual won’t end anything at all. I highly doubt this will ever happen, but still give this a close to 50/50 chance just in case that it does.

And that’s all for these predictions in the future. We’ll see which of them come true and also see just how long it might take the CW to make certain choices that they do. We do know that Burden of Truth will be ending this coming summer or whenever it airs and we have a lot to see of at lot of these shows in the future versus which ones we won’t.

Midseason Shows 2021 Part 2

There will be a part three, possibly, if I’m able to see more of what I want to and am able to at some point in time. I have enough time to see shows and should be able to update the primetime shows on every day of the week except Fridays until next season starts.

Clarice: Show Description- A continuation of Silence of the Lambs, we see more of what Clarice does after the movie is over and more mysteries need to be solved. Behind the Scenes- This is inspired by the movie, Silence of the Lambs. My Thoughts- One can be a bit lost if one has not seen the source material. But it can still be an interesting show without that. I like it. I give it three out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It looks like it will last for now. Where to Find- On CBS at 10/9 Central on Thursdays

Walker: Show Description- A remake of the Chuck Norris show, we see the adventures of people who work in Texas as rangers. Behind the Scenes- This stars Jared Palalecki from Supernatural. My Thoughts- While this has everything in a show that I would like, it didn’t meld or click with me and I didn’t really like it that much. I give it two out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It is already renewed for the next season so it will probably last at least four. Where to Find- On the CW at 8/7 Central on Thursdays

The Equalizer: Show Description- A woman and her crew work outside of the law to help those that the law can’t. Behind the Scenes- This is a sequel to the movie and has a lot of famous people in it. My Thoughts- It seems pretty good and interesting. I give it three out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It is renewed for next season so we’ll see if it lasts beyond that or not. Where to Find- On CBS at 8/7 Central on Sundays

Superman & Lois: Show Description- We see the adventures of Superman, his wife, kids, and others who are important to the story in some way. Behind the Scenes- This is part of Arrowverse and based off of comics from the DC continuity. My Thoughts- It is pretty good, even if it can be slow moving in some places. I give it three out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It is renewed for season two already so it should last until at least 100 episodes. Where to Find- On the CW at 9/8 Central on Tuesdays

The Great North: Show Description- We see the animated adventures of a family in Alaska. Behind the Scenes- I think that the same people behind Bob’s Burgers are behind this. It has some famous voices here and there. My Thoughts- The show seems pretty good and doesn’t suck the way that a lot of them do nowadays. I give it three out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It was renewed before it had even started airing and whether or not it lasts beyond that might be based on whether or not production on shows is back to normal by some point next season at some point. Where to Find- On FOX at 8:30/7:30 Central on Sundays

Cherries Wild: Show Description- A game show, people compete with trivia and then play the slots to win money. Behind the Scenes- There’s not much to say here. My Thoughts- I didn’t like the show that much as it just seemed like there wasn’t that much to it. I give it two out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- I don’t see this lasting. Where to Find- On FOX at 7/6 Central on Sundays

Debris: Show Description- Mysterious debris comes from space and causes a lot of unusual things to happen on earth. Behind the Scenes- There’s not much to add outside of the fact that this was one of the many delays based on coronavirus. My Thoughts- It seems like there is a lot to this and can be good and worth keeping up with. I’ll admit, though, that the plot seems unoriginal in some places. I give it three out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It might not last based on what typically happens with science fiction shows, but I’d have to check the ratings of this again to see if it is off. Where to Find- On NBC at 10/9 Central on Mondays

Game of Talents: Show Description- A game show, people compete against each other and the game itself to see who can identity who has what talents based on clues on it. Behind the Scenes- This has Wayne Brady, the multi-talented actor who has also been on Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Let’s Make a Deal, and Whose Line is it Anyways? My Thoughts- The clues can be too confusing and parts of the game can seem unfair in some ways. It isn’t too bad, but I don’t think that it is worth watching. I give it two out of five stars. Long Term Prospects- It could last, but I’m not sure that I see this as happening just yet. It might only if the network needs to fill the schedule with something. Where to Find- On FOX at 9/8 Central on Wednesdays

Predicting Sundays at 10/9 Central on CBS: 2021 Version

I do this post occasionally where I talk about what CBS might air in a specific timeslot during the next season. It is the most interesting for me to track over and over again. I plan to do a post where I cover a fantasy schedule for the next season. First, let’s get to the history of the unusual season and what had happened with this timeslot the previous season.

The planned schedule starting in fall of 2020 had NCIS: New Orleans occupying this timeslot. But this did not happen right away. They aired classic reruns of NCIS during this time for all of football season (that did not have movies on it) which was good since then we wouldn’t have to stay up late for something that we couldn’t already see elsewhere already. Only after football season did that show return to this timeslot. But now it is ending this season and something else will be there. I’m going to go through all of the potential shows for this from what I think are the most likely to last most likely with me ignoring what I feel isn’t likely to happen at all. I’m going to do a quicker post of this than usual.

NCIS: Los Angeles (with downgrades in timeslots being very common on Sundays where what is the latest airing show was an hour earlier the previous season, it is hard to tell what else would be better than this to be put in this timeslot), The Equalizer (if it was supposed to air in this timeslot at one point in time, then it only makes sense to put it here), Evil (if this even returns, then I don’t see much of a better timeslot for the rest of what would be its short run), Bull (if anything is randomly moving here, it is that show), FBI: Most Wanted (this could easily lose its great timeslot soon, but I wouldn’t expect it to fail immediately in this timeslot for a while), something new (this is always a possibility and could wind up happening, making it even one of the possible spin-offs that they are planning to make)

There’s not much else to talk about in this post as I’m wanting to keep this short and get it published before midnight in the Central time zone, two hours before it will say this is published. I need to get some of what I want written and just give up on other things at some point in time.

TV Shows on DVD Could be Ripping You Off

Well, I have very little time to write any posts and don’t have the time yet to provide more of the higher quality posts that I’m wanting to do at some point in time. But there was something that I noted for quite some time that is quite a problem and issue.

You see, I don’t know why this would be, but sometimes, a TV show is released to DVD in an edited way. You can tell this when a show says the complete season versus simply the season. There will even be part of the case that says the shows may be edited beyond their original network broadcast. It is already bad enough that syndication always edits down the episodes of shows. But to have the official DVD releases do this makes it seem like they are ripping you off.

Why do they do this? I don’t know. In most cases, you’d have to wonder if some of this has to do with the fact that they would want to release the compete seasons in the future and they are biding people over until that happens. I noticed once that seasons of The Bill Cosby Show weren’t complete. Good luck getting a complete season release to be bought by people nowadays.

But there could be good reasons for this. Music and song copyrights may prevent certain parts of the show from being released. We may be better off with an incomplete release since that would mean that we get something instead of nothing at all. Would you prefer an incomplete version of a show if the only alternative was no show at all? I wouldn’t think so.

It is hard to tell if they are ripping you off by making you buy something that is incomplete with such a small notice given that such a thing is even going on at all. But at least you are getting something in the end. I’d have to say that something is better than nothing, but it is still hard to feel good about this since you know that it is not a complete set, but there is nothing you can do about it while still expecting to get something from the show that you want to own.

Two Problems with Pandemic TV Right Now

Perhaps you have seen this or maybe you haven’t. But there has been a tag at the end of all of the FOX game shows that have aired this year and after the pandemic started in 2020 about the fake audiences that they have been using. Well, shows like The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer talk some about the fans at home voting. They are an unseen, virtual audience that makes sense to have during this time, but we are focused on the stock footage that they use of old audience members from previous seasons of lucky people who get their seconds of fame, sometimes more than once as I have even picked up some on the footage that was reused more than once.

But this is a problem to me. I mean, I know I seem to complain too much in this blog about things, but bear with me. Too many people want to pretend that life either is or can be normal right now despite the pandemic. Game shows that seem to have the same live studio audience that we are used to seeing usually (which literally is something we could very well have seen before with all the recycled footage being used right now) and it makes it seem like we should be living our normal lives now instead of trying to be safer and preventing us from getting coronavirus.

The other problem isn’t so much the number of shows that have mentioned the pandemic (which at this point could only be this pandemic and none of the others) but some that make it seem like there was never anything different after it. Big Sky has talked some about a pandemic on and off, but they have never shown any of the characters in face masks. It is hardly alone in that regard. Maybe they are just trying to think of an ideal world where the pandemic is part of the past and we don’t need face masks anymore (although I’m keeping mine for when there is colder weather again to keep my face cool). But to given even fleeting mentions of a pandemic on and off while making little to no effort to make it seem like it was ever a pandemic world seems troublesome to me from a narrative standpoint.

What else is there to say? I guess that I shouldn’t be too hard on TV for still giving us some of the normal programming that we are used to with sacrificing too much for how the world is different now. But I do wish that they could just show the empty studios and admit that things are different now. Or they don’t have to be in a world where the pandemic ever happened at all. I just know that it can be too weird for some shows to go on as if this post-pandemic world were already here.

An Annoyance with TVSins

There is this something that I’ve started to have an issue with. I don’t even know how best to explain it. But I still feel like doing a post on it. I’m going to explain what I’m talking about as I go along and why I find it problematic to the point of not wanting to watch this channel anymore.

You see, TVSins is a YouTube channel. It started with the person who did CinemaSins and even had the same narrator for a while. The new narrator’s only real problem is that he is doing carbon copy sins of what the original narrator would do. But the new narrator isn’t the problem that I have. The content of the channel has the person pointing out various flaws of an episode of a TV show. That isn’t the issue that I have either. I currently subscribe to this channel and get notifications. It was a specific thing that they were sinning that I feel was unfair.

People have admitted in the comments of various CinemaSins videos in their everything wrong with… series that they use this to watch movies for free. Indeed, it is on YouTube and if you want to put up with ads, then you’ll get the channel’s content for free yourself. The person who gets money are those that do the channel from their many views and subscribers.

This could get a channel into trouble. Often, YouTube covers things with fair use where if you review something, you can air clips from said thing without having to worry that much about copyright getting you into trouble. But this can still happen where reviews are taken down for copyright reasons. This was the case so much with so many of the songs and music being used that in videos starting around 2020, CinemaSins stopped playing music and even scores from movies since doing so could run the risk of a ban. When they are able to reupload old videos, you can tell because instead of playing the song, they say that they can’t play said song.

But the issue that I have more relates to bypassing paid content in order to give free content all while they get money of their own in return. Shortly after WandaVision premiered, this became all that TVSins would cover. WandaVision being a Disney+ show is something only available legally if you buy Disney+ for yourself. But every new episode of this show was available in sin form on a free YouTube channel. Granted, you aren’t getting the whole series and it is likely that there is something wrong with the very channel pointed out flaws in others (such as misleading people into thinking that it goes one way when if you’ve seen the whole thing, you’d know that they are wrong themselves about what they say is wrong), but they are still doing something to get money for themselves while people watch their channel instead of WandaVision itself.

TVSins has the right to cover whatever content they want. They can even do episodes of shows with such fast turnaround that the content is brand new. But I don’t think that I like this and can get behind this channel anymore. I’d still a subscriber of it at the moment and haven’t stopping watching it just yet. But it has been a while and more or less from the moment that they did this, I haven’t gone back to this channel. I don’t like the fact that they are sinning something this new and seeming to do this with a show this new and oddly popular (I know it is MCU, but I can’t even understand what this is supposed to be about and have no plans to watch it myself) that is not available unless you have a streaming site. This is why I’m annoyed with this YouTube channel and may never watch it again.

Mondays in Primetime Version 7

Mondays are a day that I’ve had mixed feelings about at times, but they tend to have good shows a lot of the time now. It seems to air a lot of new things a lot of the time. NBC shows a lot of different things over time. They mostly show The Voice as the first show for most of the year. ABC airs Dancing with the Stars in the fall, The Bachelor in the winter, and American Idol during the spring. It airs other things throughout the year. The Good Doctor is the current end of their schedule. CBS shows two different comedies right now at this time before ending with Bull. They also air All Rise. FOX is currently airing 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star. The CW airs All American and Black Lightning.

The Neighborhood: Status- Currently on CBS at 8/7 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I tend to watch a CBS show at least once and this was no exception. Description- A white family moves into a predominately black neighborhood. Notable People- It has Max Greenfield from New Girl. It has Beth Behrs from 2 Broke Girls. It has Tichina Arnold from Everybody Hates Chris. Pros- It has a more racially equal cast than what you typically see. Cons- It wasn’t really any good or funny. The material does not work that well. Note to Parents- There might be some issues with it at time in terms of if kids should watch this or not, but it is probably better than most. Recommendation- I’d pass on this. My Viewing Habits- I only watched this once. Prediction- This will probably last for now as enough other people like it. Reception: mixed to negative. Grade: D.

9-1-1: Status- Currently on FOX at 8/7 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- When I first watched it, nothing else that I cared about was on. Description- Various emergency workers are shown from their professional life to their personal lives. Notable People- Jennifer Love Hewitt, from Ghost Whisperer and Criminal Minds, is a character on the show. Peter Krause, from Parenthood and The Catch, is another person on the show. Pros- The plot is good and works most of the time. Cons- Some of it can seem a bit unrealistic at times. A lot of what happens can seem like wasted time. Note to Parents- There is a lesbian on the show. Most of the episodes air with a content adversary warning. Some of what happens can be violent more than it needs to be. Recommendation- I think that it is good and worth watching if you have the time for it. My Viewing Habits- I starting watching into its second season around March and plan to keep watching when I can until it ends. Prediction- This will probably keep lasting for now and should air 100 episodes. Reception: positive. Grade: A.

All American: Status- Currently on the CW at 8/7 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I like to watch some new CW shows at least once when they first start airing. Noteworthiness- This is based off of a true story. Description- A teenage boy moves in with a coach who seeks to give him a better life. Pros- The show worked in some ways. Cons- It didn’t really click with me at all. There wasn’t much that was interesting about it. Note to Parents- There might not be too much bad about this. Recommendation- I don’t think that it is worth anyone’s time. My Viewing Habits- I only watched the first episode and never cared about seeing the show again. Prediction- It will probably last until the CW wants to end it at some point in the future. Reception: positive. Grade: D.

9-1-1: Lone Star: Status- Currently on FOX at 9/8 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I watched the original so I figured that I might as well check this out too. Noteworthiness- This is a spin-off of the original 9-1-1, set in Texas. Description- A man dealing with personal problems brings his son to Texas and starts a new team there of firefighters there from other places since the old team had died in a previous crisis. Notable People- Rob Lowe, who was and is in a lot of other shows, such as The West Wing, Brothers & Sisters, Parks and Recreation, The Grinder, and Code Black, is the main character. Gina Torres, from Firefly, among other projects, is another character. Pros- The show is interesting and the characters are wonderful. Cons- Some of the characters don’t have as much material to them as others. Parts of it are way over the top. Note to Parents- There’s a lot of questionable content in here for kids and it airs with a content adversary warning most, if not all, of the time. Recommendation- This is quite a good show and worth keeping up with. My Viewing Habits- I have seen this from the beginning, but am not sure that I saw all of this thus far. Prediction- This will probably last for a while. Its only issue right now is if the other show will eclipse it. Reception: mostly positive. Grade: B. New review

Bob Hearts Abishola: Status- Currently on CBS at 8:30/7:30 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I tend to watch a CBS show at least once when I can. Description- A man falls for a medical person who treated him after he was sent to the hospital. Notable People- This stars Billy Gardel from Mike and Molly. It also was created by (or at least produced by) Chuck Lorre who also did Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and Mom. Pros- This had some parts that worked and could be interesting long term. Cons- I wasn’t finding much good or funny in it. Note to Parents- This might have the usual problems that you might expect from most of the TV shows nowadays. Recommendation- Don’t bother with it. My Viewing Habits- I watched the first episode, but never cared about seeing it again. Prediction- This will probably last. Reception: mixed. Grade: D.

All Rise: Status- Currently on CBS at 9/8 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I tend to watch shows on CBS at least once. Description- This is a courtroom drama largely from a judge’s perspective. Pros- It seemed pretty good. We see what we normally don’t in perspective. Cons- It does have a problem by not seeming much different from other shows like it, outside of who the main focus is on. Some can question if the friendships on the show would be ethical or good in reality. Note to Parents- This might not have too much that kids can’t see, but could have issues beyond that as it would focus on bad things in people’s lives such as crimes. Recommendation- I think that this is worth the time. My Viewing Habits- I was not able to see as much of this in the beginning due to work commitments. Now that the problem of it is over, I think that I will watch it a lot more in the future. Prediction- This could last. Reception: generally favorable. Grade: A.

Black Lightning: Status- Currently on the CW at 9/8 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I try to watch a new CW show at least once if I can. Also, I like most superhero shows and watch them when I can as they are normally good. Noteworthiness- This is adapted from a DC comics character. Description- A black superhero comes out of retirement to protect his city from new threats. Pros- This show has more normal humans that can solve problems and even create problems. Thus, it is good that it focuses less on just a super villain of the week. The plot largely works for the most part. Cons- There could be more people that have super powers in this than I’ve seen thus far. Its advantage of not always focusing on people with powers is also a problem. There could be more to it than there is. Note to Parents- Teens should be okay watching this and maybe some preteens would be okay too, but there are some issues that parents might have with this, such as a lesbian character. Recommendation- I see it as largely good and suggest watching it. My Viewing Habits- I got into this just a bit later than I was wanting to and have missed a lot, but have watched this since the first season. I missed a lot of this early into 2019’s new season due to work commitments before I could come back into it long term after that. Prediction- It is currently airing its last season. Reception: positive. Grade: B.

The Good Doctor: Status- Currently on ABC at 10/9 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- It looked like a pretty good show to me. Noteworthiness- This is an adaptation of a South Korean show. Description- A young doctor with autism starts working with other doctors and has to overcome stigma. Notable People- Hill Harper, from CSI: New York, stars on this show as well. David Shore, the creator of House, is also the creator of this show as well. Pros- This is wonderful with well written characters, plots, and overall believable medical situations. Cons- Not all the characters are nice people. I know that happens a lot and it can be needed at times, but it can still be a problem. Note to Parents- This is mostly acceptable for kids, but there are some problems with it in terms of what age can watch. I’d say that pre-teens and older should be good with this. Recommendation- I think that everyone should watch this. My Viewing Habits- I know that I have not seen every episode, but I have watched this as much as I can over the course of time. I missed this show for a while due to work commitments. Prediction- This is getting good ratings for now so it will stay for as long as that lasts. Reception: mixed to positive. Grade: A+.

Bull: Status- Currently on CBS at 10/9 Central on Mondays. Why I’ve seen it- I always watch a CBS show under most circumstances and I thought that this show would be interesting too. Noteworthiness- This is inspired by something Dr. Phil did before he went into television. He also helped create the show. Description- This is about a jury consultant who helps with court cases. Notable People- This stars Michael Weatherly, well known from NCIS, as the main character. Pros- It seems like a pretty interesting show as you normally don’t see courtroom dramas from this perspective. In fact, it makes you wonder why you don’t see shows like this more often. Cons- Michael Weatherly is doing a bad job of separating himself from NCIS as his character on this show is very similar to the one he played on NCIS. Also, it doesn’t seem realistic as no other courtroom drama has this angle on it. Some problems often wind up being nonfactors in the show. There can be a sense of sameness with the episodes. Note to Parents- This is the standard amount in terms of what is acceptable for kids or not. Recommendation- I would watch this show if you could.
