When Networks Air Nothing

You wouldn’t think that this would happen much, if at all. But it does happen a lot. Networks have times when they don’t air anything during a timeslot. By that I mean, the thing there isn’t new or even always the same thing week after week. You will see this a lot when a show is cancelled. 

I’m bringing this up because this has happened a lot, or at least did, during the time of coronavirus on TV. There were unprecedented delays, the likes of which we’ve never seen before. But this is to be expected in a way. They didn’t have anything new to air so they just went with reruns. But this was a fine thing to do in the end since at least they were airing something.
